Counseling Psychology (Ph.D.)

The doctoral Counseling Psychology program is accredited by the American Psychological Association as offering training in counseling psychology and is based on the scientist-practitioner model. The program strives to train outstanding counseling psychologists who can advance theoretically-based, empirically-driven services that enhance the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Interdisciplinary Studies: Concentration in Bilingual Education (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Bilingual Education (BIED), prepares students to pursue a career as a bilingual education, ESL or dual language teacher. The 124-hour program provides coursework with an emphasis on addressing English language learner needs in the classroom.

During the program, students participate in field experiences, ending with a student teaching experience and the opportunity for Bilingual EC-6 certification.
