Center for Research and Development in Dual Language and Literacy Acquisition

Closing the educational achievement gap for children who are learning English as a second language is the focus for researchers in the Center for Research and Development in Dual Language and Literacy Acquisition (CRDLLA).

The center, led by Dr. Rafael Lara-Alecio provides leadership in research, assessment and professional development to enhance the academic success of second language learners through programs that promote dual language and English language and literacy acquisition.

The center also offers online professional development activities through a partnership with Citrix.
