Department Funds for Student Travel
Department funds available for student travel!
Students that have had their manuscripts submitted to a professional, peer reviewed journal may have access to travel funds. Each student is eligible for a maximum of $300 per manuscript for professional travel expenses; not to exceed two manuscripts in the budget year. Students must also be enrolled with the department for the same year the funds are awarded. The student should be the first or sole author on the manuscript. Any reviews ( book, test, etc..) are not acceptable. These funds can only be used for professional travel. Students can be reimbursed for expenses already incurred but not fully reimbursed or use the funds for future travel within the same budget year ( 9/1/09-8/31/10). A copy of the manuscript, submission acknowledgement and original receipts are required for any reimbursement.
