Reynolds Named Editor Of Leading Psychology Journal

Cecil Reynolds, professor of school psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology, has been appointed editor-in-chief of Psychological Assessment, a leading journal in the field of clinical psychology. 

Reynolds, who is the first editor in the journal's history not to be a clinical psychologist, will serve in his new role for a six-year term, beginning January 2009. 

Psychological Assessment, published by the American Psychological Association, distributes empirical research on measurement and evaluation relevant to the field of clinical psychology. The journal focuses on the diagnosis and evaluation of psychological characteristics or processes and assessment of the effectiveness of interventions.
