This is based on a student coming in with a Bachelor's degree. Courses in bold must be taken at the suggested time to stay in sequence. The shaded areas indicate other activities that students need to be engaged in; these are in addition to formal coursework.

YEAR 1

  • Obtain liability insurance (copy of cover page to Academic Advising Office)
  • File degree plan for M.Ed. (optional for students entering 2009 or earlier)
  • Become involved with research project or activity

  • Write complete proposal and dtermine any additional components to written and oral preliminary examinations for your advisory committee
  • Update 'myrecord'
  • Renew liability insurance
